I am going to change the topic I have been writing about a bit. This week I went on a 3 day trip with my school to a beach called Manuel Antonio. I had a wonderful time during the whole trip.

We left at 6 am from school to a place called Turubari where we were either going to ride a canopy or a “superman”. I of course chose the superman because I am more of a daring type of person and the canopy just didn’t do it for me. When I saw the base of the superman I was pretty nervous because of the size and length of it. When I was being strapped on to the cable there were like 15 seconds when I was like “OMG I´m gonna die”.  When I started gaining speed and enjoying the ride everything seemed to be ok.  After that the rest of the day was mainly hiking and eating.

The next day we left at 6 o´clock to go rafting. The rapids were categories 1 to 3. When we got there they gave a short and frightening introduction to rafting. After that we got into groups and went on the raft. This was probably the most exciting adventure we had on the trip. After about 2 hours of jumping off rafts, going underwater and paddling like crazy we had lunch. After that we went to the hotel and went to the beach for the rest of the day.

The next day we went to the national park of Manuel Antonio to rake trails for a while and then just hung around the beach until the afternoon. We ate at a restaurant and then left to school again on Friday.

We got to school at about 6 p.m. I was very tired of that trip. Until now this has been the best school trip I’ve been on.
